Bay County Chamber of Commerce to Host Annual Block Party on Thursday

PANAMA CITY, Fla. – The Bay County Chamber of Commerce is set to host its Ninth Annual Block Party presented by the Board of Directors and sponsored by Chevron on Thursday, March 24 from 5-7 p.m.

The event is FREE for Chamber members and the community. It will take place on Oak Ave. adjacent to the Chamber office at 235 W. 5th St. in Panama City.

“It’s an exciting time in Bay County,” Chamber President Carol Roberts said. “Everywhere you look there is something happening, something improving. The Block Party is one of our ways to celebrate our community and all of its successes.”

Featured at this year’s event is the T-Rex Relay Race sponsored by WOW! Business where contestants will compete in a relay that consists of three mini-games on their way to the finish line.

True Soul, an R&B/Soul band from Panama City, will provide live entertainment. Attendees can enjoy free food, drinks and ice cream. There will also be games and activities available for children.
