PANAMA CITY, Fla. – The Bay County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the appointment of Patrick Chapin as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. In September of 2023, after 46 years of service, Carol Roberts announced her retirement and the search for the new President and CEO began.
As a native of Central Florida, Patrick brings experience in both the public and nonprofit sectors. He has held leadership roles at the Walt Disney Company and served as president and CEO of both the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce (FL) and Business High Point – Chamber of Commerce (NC). As the Bay County Chamber of Commerce continues to play a vital role in promoting local businesses and driving development in the region, Chapin is equipped to lead the organization with a strategic vision and dedication to excellence.

About Patrick
Patrick Chapin was born and raised in Orlando, FL and brings experience in both the public and nonprofit sectors. He has held leadership roles at the Walt Disney Company and served as president and CEO of both the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce (FL) and Business High Point – Chamber of Commerce (NC). Patrick’s interests include fishing, traveling, and cheering for his alma mater Florida State University. He is a five-time Ironman, multiple marathon and ultramarathon finisher, has climbed Kilimanjaro (19,340 ft.) and Ojos del Salado (22,620 ft.) and is a kidney donor. Patrick and his wife, Michelle, have a teenage daughter, Sarah, who is an accomplished equestrian.
