Ambassadors
Be the Welcome. Build the Connection.
The Bay County Chamber Ambassadors are some of the Chamber's most visible and engaged volunteers. They help welcome new members, celebrate business milestones and create connections that help businesses become part of the Chamber community.
From ribbon cuttings and grand openings to First Friday and other Chamber events, Ambassadors are often among the first people a new member meets. They serve as a bridge between the Chamber, its members and the broader Bay County business community.
If you're looking for a way to become more involved, build meaningful business relationships and represent the Chamber throughout Bay County, the Ambassadors Committee is a great place to start.
MORE THAN A WELCOME COMMITTEE
Being an Ambassador is about helping Chamber members feel connected from the beginning.
Ambassadors represent the Bay County Chamber at business celebrations, Chamber programs and community events. They help new members navigate their Chamber experience, introduce them to other members and encourage them to take advantage of the connections and opportunities available through their membership.
In many ways, Ambassadors put a face to the Chamber.
What Ambassadors Do
As an Ambassador, you'll have opportunities to:
- Celebrate Bay County businesses by participating in ribbon cuttings, grand openings and groundbreakings.
- Welcome new Chamber members and help connect them with people, programs and resources.
- Represent the Chamber at First Friday, Business After Hours and other Chamber events.
- Build relationships with business owners, community leaders and fellow Chamber members.
- Deliver new-member welcome bags and plaques and help new members become engaged with the Chamber.
- Recognize investment in our community by helping select recipients of the Chamber's Apple of Our Eye Awards, which recognize outstanding new construction and renovation projects.
- Stay engaged through monthly Ambassador meetings and volunteer opportunities.
