- What’s something everyone should know about our community? Bay County is the best place to live, work and play. We are a giving community. We love our military families that live here and serve our country. We rally to help our neighbors when they are in need. It’s just a beautiful place that we get to call HOME!
- What’s one project you’ve been a part of that people might not know about? As consultant to the USS Momsen Commissioning Team, BAYSOLUTIONS coordinated the team’s volunteers in the planning and execution of the first commissioning of a US Navy warship to take place in Bay County. Nearly 10 months of preparation led to a week-long series of events open to the public and culminated with the commissioning ceremony attended by over 5,000 people. The U.S. Navy organization responsible for scheduling and selecting the commissioning sites for ships was so impressed with the community response, it, again, selected Bay County for the commissioning of the USS Mesa Verde.

- What’s something everyone should know about our community? Having spent 40 of my 43 years in Panama City, Florida, I can confidently say that while we may seem like a large community, the true heart of our city feels surprisingly intimate. We are a warm, welcoming Southern city experiencing significant growth, bringing numerous opportunities for our families. This growth is beneficial, especially when we focus on preserving the community’s spirit, making our city a truly special place to live and work. Let’s not forget the stunning location we are fortunate to call home.

- What’s something about you that might surprise people? I grew up in a single-parent household, where my mom instilled in me the importance of hard work and the essence of resilience when faced with life’s challenges. She showed me how vital treating everyone with kindness and respect is. I believe that when we have the opportunity to help others, we should embrace it and pay that kindness forward.
