Lynn Haven’s 8th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting

The City of Lynn Haven invites the community to ignite the holiday season by joining us for our 8th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting event on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024, from 5:30 – 8:00 PM at Sharon Sheffield Park.
The city, along with WJHG News Channel 7, will present a Holiday Spectacular singing lineup and feature Neysa Wilkins! Festivities will kick off at 5:30 PM. The tree lighting will be held at exactly 6:00 PM with a countdown by City Manager, Vickie Gainer.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the musical performances in the park. There will be a photo opportunity with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, free hot chocolate and cookies, and food for purchase through food trucks on-site. The lighting of the 35-foot Christmas Tree symbolizes the start of all holiday events for City of Lynn Haven residents.
Mayor Jesse Nelson shares that the holiday season is always memorable in the City of Lynn Haven. He states, “The holidays are truly the most wonderful time of the year because they bring together our community while in a festive atmosphere. Our Christmas Tree Lighting is one of our beloved events and I hope the residents of Lynn Haven and surrounding communities come and join us for this merry tradition”.
