Gulf Coast Players Presents: Black Moses and Other Tales
March 1 @ 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm
Gulf Coast Players presents, Black Moses and Other Tales, a storytelling showcase written, produced, and performed by students of the GCSC Theatre Club.
Stories include a fictional account of Harriet Tubman; Halfway Home by Kaiden Ordoqui – an examination of the effects of PTSD in the life of a veteran; a Closer Look by Dawn Duvall – a haunting modern fable about family; and more.
The club’s faculty advisor, Professor Vincent Pelligrino, is excited about the opportunity for students to create their own work: “It’s so important for students to create their own opportunities, whether it’s writing, producing, acting, or directing – being multifaceted as a theatre maker is vital to making it as a professional, and we are thrilled they get the opportunity to practice those skills here at Gulf Coast.”
