Registration for Education Encore’s Fall semester opens this Friday, August 4, 2023, and this season is filled with even more exciting perks. If you’re a senior adult looking to learn, have fun, and expand your horizons, this program is tailor-made for you!
Education Encore is a non-credit educational program provided by Gulf Coast State College’s Continuing Education department and caters to senior adults seeking personal enrichment and development. With over 28 diverse courses, from Beginning Bridge to The History of Tourism in Bay County, there’s something for everyone.
The Fall 2023 semester runs for six consecutive Fridays, starting from September 22 until October 27, 2023. Lara Herter, GCSC Education Encore Program Coordinator, is enthusiastic about expanding the course selection to ensure an engaging experience. Each class costs less than $6, making the courses both educational and affordable.
Past participants speak highly of the program, with one Fall student mentioning their 17-year journey and continuous excitement for each session.
