The St. Joe Company is proud to announce that one of St. Joe Hospitality’s new hotels recently received a prestigious national award. The Hilton Garden Inn, which opened last July near the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport, has been recognized with a HGI Brand Award, “Brighter Together – A Brighthearted Award,” for scoring in the top one percent of regional hotels receiving the highest SALT (Service and Loyalty Tracking) scores for: Overall Service; Making Guests Feel Welcomed; Problem Resolution; and Cleanliness of Rooms.

Impressively, over the past six full months the Hilton Garden Inn Panama City Airport ranked in the top five in each of five separate categories compared to 800 other hotels, including being scored second for Overall Service.

In recognition of the accomplishment, the local Hilton Garden Inn received a note from Hilton Worldwide Holdings, Inc. saying in part, “Your entire team is shining … giving that Brighthearted hospitality to guests and delivering the most reliable and friendly service! Achieving such high scores in key areas in SALT is a direct result of your teamwork, passion and commitment to delivering best-in-class service. We applaud your outstanding efforts in continuing to focus on what truly differentiates Hilton Garden Inn from other brands!”

The St. Joe Company employs more than 900 people during peak season and currently owns or operates six hotels, with an additional five hotels under development or construction. Once complete, these projects will bring St. Joe’s hotel portfolio to 1,170 rooms.

Owned or managed: WaterColor Inn (60 rooms); The Pearl Hotel (55 rooms); Watersound Inn (11 rooms); TownePlace Suites (124 rooms); Hilton Garden Inn (143 rooms); Homewood Suites (131 rooms).

In the works: Camp Creek Inn (75 rooms); Embassy Suites (255 rooms); Hotel Indigo (124 rooms); The Lodge 30A (85 rooms), Home2 Suites (107 rooms).

The Hilton Garden Inn’s site at VentureCrossings Enterprise Centre and the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) is just a short drive to Panama City Beach’s world famous white-sand beaches and the Pier Park area, making it a convenient option for both leisure and business travelers. Meeting space, a pool and fitness center and a full-service restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week ensure all guests are well taken care of during their stay.
