Gulf Coast State College is preparing for the unveiling of “Commodore” the GCSC mascot on Wednesday, February 1, 2023.
The mascot unveiling will take place in the Panama City Campus gym during halftime of the women’s basketball game when the Commodores host the Chipola College Indians at 5:30pm (women’s game) and at 7:30pm (men’s game).
Fans are invited to come out to meet and get a picture with “Commodore” while enjoying the basketball games. There will be giveaways for the community and students!
“After many months of planning, we are excited to introduce our mascot to Commodore fans – I feel it will add another level of excitement and school spirit here at GCSC,” states Katie McCurdy, Executive Director of Community Engagement.
