Gulf Coast State College is scheduled to host a dedication ceremony in memory of the late Leon Miller, a former GCSC counselor, Men’s Basketball Associate Coach, and local legend. GCSC’s Navigation Center will be named the “Leon Miller Navigation Center” during the ceremony on Friday, March 31, at 10:00 a.m. in the GCSC Student Union East, 2nd floor.
Leon Miller served the College as a college counselor from 1969-1999, and as the Men’s Basketball Associate Coach from 1975-1977. Through his role at the College, and his prominent presence in the local community, Mr. Miller has been considered a local legend and community mentor for many decades.
Gulf Coast State College invites the community to join us at the dedication ceremony to honor the life of Mr. Miller and the legacy he leaves.
