Gulf Coast State College is currently accepting applications for several Health Sciences programs for the Summer and Fall 2023 semester. Completion of these programs will prepare students for certification and/or licensure to begin careers within the healthcare field.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Panama City Campus
- Application deadline: May 11, 2023
- Two-year program – Associate in Science degree
- Delivers physical therapy services under the direction/supervision of the physical therapist (PT)

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Gulf/Franklin Campus (summer class)
- Application deadline: May 19, 2023
- Eight-week program – career certificate
- Provides basic patient care tasks under the supervision of a licensed nurse or physician

Surgical First Assistant – Panama City Campus
- Application deadline: June 1, 2023
- Two-year program – Associate in Science degree
- Assists surgeons during surgical procedures

Surgical Technology – Panama City Campus
- Application deadline: June 1, 2023
- Two-year program – Associate in Science degree
- Prepares the operating room equipment and participates in surgical procedures

Respiratory Care – Panama City Campus

- Evaluates and provides care to patients with breathing disorders

- Ten-month program – career certificate
