This intermediate level course will build on the basics to expand students’ MS Word skill-set as they learn special text effects, mail merging and the tools essential to long documents.
Students will be engaged with hands-on learning as they apply learned concepts to create relevant, mock work examples such as a newsletter, table of contents and more.
Highlights are Mail Merge – Data Source, Problem Solving, Working with Labels and Envelopes; Creating a Newsletter – Special Effect to Text & Pictures, Column Set Up; and Long Documents – Formatting, Navigating, Creating a Table of Contents and Index, Headers and Footers. Books and thumb drive are included. Pre-requisite: Should have taken MS Word Basic or have an equivalent understanding.
