November 5 @ 7:30 am - 9:00 am
About First Friday:
Going strong since 1957, First Friday is one of the Chamber’s most popular events. Held on the first Friday of every month, the event includes networking, a community program of interest, new member introductions, refreshments and more. Networking begins at 7:30 am and the program follows at 8:00 am.
This month, we will hear from the U.S. Coast Guard Master Chief A. Mark Kannan on how our local base is making an impact world-wide from Bay County. We will also hear from Capt. Andrew Meverden as he shares about the production of Offshore Patrol Cutters (OPC) in Bay County. The OPC project is the Coast Guard’s highest investment priority, and provides a capability bridge between the national security cutter, which patrols the open ocean in the most demanding maritime environments, and the fast response cutter, which serves closer to shore. You will learn what the new ships are used for and how their production is benefiting Bay County, FL.
The details of this event are still being planned. Please check back later for a link to view this event live.
